How to control diseases and insects

We believe in prevention, before diseases or insects could cause damage to crops. Because, whenever it caused damage to plants, whatever remedies follow later cannot repair the damage. In other words, growers will suffer loss of the crops either partially or whole, means – less or no production,  and perhaps, inferior quality could be the out come. Besides, the time for planting will be wasted for growing that crop, result in loss in income and wasted labor cost.

 

Prevent diseases

We suggest –

  1. Apply Siege in the soil can prevent soil born diseases, cause by fungus. Siege is able to destroy all the eggs of insects and nematodes. Especially, eggs of black crickets found in the vegetable plots would be destroyed.

 

  1. Enhance and Stress spray on the plants can prevent bacteria causing cankers, or phytopthera , or Oomycetes wilt.

 

For insect control

We suggest –

  1. Knock spray, dilution 1:1000 as repellant, or to kill insects with 1:100

 

  1. By spraying Fe’Lamour into one area, in dilution of 1:1000, which can attract mature mating insect to one spot, but they will not be able to mate, and follow by spraying  Knock to kill those insects in that area. This way, we can reduce the population of adult insects within a few weeks. The best way to do it is just after fruit setting.

 

For aphids, thrips and mite, the best way to keep them out of the planting area is to install overhead sprayers with Knock solution if the plants are in the greenhouses. Otherwise, use fog sprayer to spray Knock 1:100 every 3-7 days until these insects can be reduce and under controlled. Besides, in addition, we can also spray bio pesticides of bacteria which is effective to control these insects.

The advantages of using Sunrich Organic products and method in planting

 

Sunrich Organic Products are designed for the following purposes :-

  1. produce can increase in yield, in sizes, better taste, and higher quality, for flowers having more vibrant colors and intense in smell, and able to store longer in post harvest storage.
  2. Our planting method enable farmers to reduce workload or labor cost, achieve saving in total production cost
  3. All Sunrich Organic products are safe, and user and consumer friendly.

 

Methods of using Sunrich Organic, we put into two category –

  1. For Organic farming
  2.  For Conventional farming

 

  1. Organic farming

In organic farming we do not use any chemicals. Even in making compost we do not add urea or chemicals to enhance compost nutrients. Just natural farm waste materials.

 

Here are the Sunrich Organic products use for making compost, as follows :-

  • COMPOMIN E+
  • Siege
  • Enhance
  • Stress / Stress SC
  • Digestor

 

Organic Matter – are found in farm waste, Sugarcane filter cake, oil palm filter cake, tapioca waste, treated animal dung etc.(animal dung is a subjective issue when it comes to organic certifications)

 

Method to make compost – based on one m/ton

  • Use COMPOMIN 50 kg mix with one m/ton of organic material.
  • At the same time, spray Digestor on the material (can also be any microorganisms for that purpose) 1:100 – 1:1000 dilution, allow treated material to ferment until its inner temperature reduced and cooled,
  • After that, mix Siege 50 kg and spray Enhance 1:1000. Now, compost is ready for use.

 

Compost use for

  1. a) seedlings – mix compost 40 % with cocopeat 30 %, and burn rice husk 30 %, spray with Enhance 1:1000, stand for a week, the mixture will be ready as planting substrate. It can also be used for substrate in trays, or fill in bags for young plants.

 

  1. b) soil planting – 1000 kg prepared compost can be used on 1000sq. meter planting area, will be good for at least 2 months  for vegetable, melons, fruit vegetables.

If need to continue planting for several months, such as chilli, tomatoes, add one kg of compost to each plant every month.

  1. c) Enhance can be applied as installed in the drip system, or use spraying tank to spray on the soil or compost mix.

 

 

Method to use Enhance and Stress/ Stress SC/ Stress OR

  1. a) Enhance can be used daily or once in 3 days depend on the need of the plants
  2. b) Stress must apply according to instruction

For once in 15 days  dilution  1:1000

For once a month  dilution  4: 1000

Note :

  • Stress is use for plants in general with many branches, such as rice, fruit trees tapioca,
  • Stress SC is use for single trunk plants like Palms, corn, sugarcane
  • Stress OR is use of orchids
  • Enhance, Stress and EverGreen can be mix in same tank

 

  1. Conventional planting  using Sunrich Products

In conventional planting, compost is still necessary. We suggest :-

  1. a) prepare compost 500kg for 1000sq. meter planting area, but reduce chemical fertilizer by 50%, or
  2. b) Reduce urea 50 % and use normal compost 500 kg for 1000 sq. meter planting area
  3. c) if the soil contain enough compost, just spread Compomin and Siege each 50gm per sq. meter on the planting soil.

 

Repeat applying compost 500 kg every 3 months, or add COMPOMIN  and Siege each 50 kg every 3 months

Spray Enhance, Stress or Stress SC and EverGreen as recommended above can achieve very good result.

EverGreen®

Contain chelated nutrients use as foliage plant feed. It can be mixed with Stress® or Enhance® in the same tank. The result is greener, larger and thicker leaves, increase quantity and weigh of most economic crops, achieve better quality, sweeter and larger fruit sizes.

SPECIFIC FUNCTION

Use as plant supplement to enhance plant growth via leaves.

Enlarge and thicken leaves, increase in size, and weigh of crops.

DOSAGE

  • Mix with water in dilution 1:1000
  • For turf grass 50 cc. / 500 liter water able to cover 1000 sq. meter area
  • For rice, sugarcane, oil palm, tapioca 50 cc. / 50 liter water able to cover one rai, or 1000 cc. / 1000 liter water can cover one hectare.

REMARKS

  • EverGreen® can be mixed in water with all Sunrich Organic liquid Products

  • Do not pre mix EverGreen® with any supplement liquid products, because it will cause precipitation.

Enhance®

Enhance® is made from purified fish protein and plant extracts. It is enriched in nitrogen, amino acids, hormones, vitamins and nutrients which can readily be absorbed by plants. It can be diluted in water, does not clot sprayers or drip feed nozzles.

We also produce Enhance® in powder form that can be spread over compost, dung or soil surface.

SPECIFIC FUNCTION

It provide complete balanced nutrient in liquid for plant.

It can achieve faster growth and higher yield.

SPECIFIC FUNCTION

  • Suppress microorganisms causing damage to plant tissues.
  • Stimulate plant defense mechanisms, prevent and control damage to plants by microorganisms.

DOSAGE

For prevention of plant diseases, dilution 1:1000, spray on plant once every 15 days. Treat infected plants -dilution 1:100, (200 cc/ 20 liter water) spray on plant and around root zone 2 times in 7 days. Thereafter, maintain with Siege®, Stress® and Enhance®.

REMARKS

Benefits – It is quick in suppressing diseases. After treatment, infected plants (including virus infected plants) grow without sign of infection.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

Able to permeate plant cells and cause stress to their growth mechanism (bio-elicitors) for specific applications, e.g.

  • Flowers – Roses, chrysanthemum, vegetable fruit type e.g. chili, eggplant, bell pepper, tomato, melon, cucumber etc, spray every 15 days.
  • To induce flowering and better fruit set in fruit trees such as longan, macadamia, spray every 15 days, increase dosage of liquid by using dilution of 1:1000, 2:1000 3:1000 should see good result of better fruit set. Continue to use the liquid for 1:1000, spray every 15 days, will see fruit growing larger, and gaining in weigh compare to untreated trees.
  • For maintenance of turf and lawn, after grass cutting, spray liquid 1:1000 every 7 days, will enhance root growth, but slow down leaf growth, and maintain darker green foliage. Especially during dry season, Stress® treated turf is able to maintain green color through the drought period.
  • For sugarcane, use Stress SC together with Evergreen, Compomin E+, and Prima, able to increase number of shoots, increase length, larger in circumference size and heavier in weigh, sugar content in cane is higher, reduce damage by borer worms, prevent virus disease in sugarcane (no white leaves).
  • For oil palm, Stress SC used together with Evergreen, Compomin E+, and Prima, able to induce production of more female flowers bunches and better fruit set, increase size and weight of fruit bunches, able to produce fruit all year round, and not interrupt by male flower bunches.

Siege® IS NON TOXIC BIODEGRADABLE NATURAL MATERIAL, ABLE TO PREVENT SOIL BORN DISEASES, DESTROY EGGS OF INSECTS AND NEMATODES.

SPECIFIC FUNCTION

  • Stimulate microorganisms activities in the soil. Microorganisms e.g azotobacter, cyanobacter can make use of nitrogen in the air and in the soil, and actinomyces and streptomyces can make use of macro and micro nutrients make available to plant.
  • Protect plant roots, prevent soil born diseases caused by fungus, destroy eggs of insects and eggs of nematodes.
  • Improve soil condition, activate floral of microorganisms in the soil, plants grow more literal roots, create more hormones and chlorophyll on leaves.
  • Create more phytochemicals, such as phyto alexin, gibberellin, auxins, protease in plant defense.
  • Create more sugar in the plant (certain plant cells elicitors are stimulated to covert CO2 to sugar).
  • Break down contaminants in the soil over longer period.

USAGE

Mix into planting substrate (compost) for obtaining best result, or apply in planting plots

  • Spread 50 gm to one sq. meter, for every pot or dug hole of 25 x 25 cm, mix with soil or spread 20 gm inside dug holes.
  • 1000 sq. meter use 50 kg.

Repeat same application every 2-3 months

NON TOXIC, NATURAL MATERIAL, PROVIDE NEEDED MICRO NUTRIENTS FOR PLANTS

It is made of natural salt and plants salt. It contains more than 60 kinds of trace element.

SPECIFIC FUNCTION

It is able to improve nutrient depleted soil condition, enhance soil microorganisms activities, increase crop yield and quantity, improve quality, weigh and size of produce. It can prevent blossom end rot and fruit rot due to nutrient imbalance.

REMARKS

The trace elements are in the form of metal-organic complexes, needed for the growth and survival of photosynthetic organisms. Due to the concentrate nature of the product, it is advisable to adhere strictly to manufacture’s instructions.

DOSAGE

For mature plants not fruiting yet, such as chilli, tomato, egg plant, melons, squashes, use once every 15 days. Fruiting plants can be sprayed every 7 -15 days, depending on condition of the plants.

Use sprayer to spray copiously at the root zone. Better to apply after watering plants, or after raining.

For cut flowers, drip one to two drops of Prima in one liter water can help cut flowers to keep fresh longer. Change water in container every 3 days can extend its freshness.

KNOCK®

Knock® – NATURAL BIODEGRABLE ORGANIC MATERIAL

It is extracted from natural plant material in dry distillation process. The collected liquid contains water, and others are primary, secondary and tertiary alcohols, carboxylic acids, Ketones and aldehydes. It can be diluted in water or solvent, and can be added to pesticide as a filler or binder.

It is an effective natural insect repellant and pesticide by itself, against larvae of beetles (grubs), larvae of moth (caterpillars) and larvae of wing insects (nymphs). The liquid affects their nerve system, digestion and reproduction. It is also effective in controlling adult insects e.g. white flies, fruit flies, termites, aphids, thrips and mites.

An effective bio insect repellant and pesticide.

DOSAGE
